Two Kings, Two Hearts

In this sermon from our King Me! series, we examine the lives of two kings who both reigned 29 years: Amaziah and Hezekiah. While both were good kings, their hearts toward God were vastly different. Amaziah began with revenge and ended in pride, turning to false gods. Hezekiah began by seeking God’s house and maintaining a heart wholly devoted to the Lord. We explore what their lives teach us about how we start our spiritual journey, how we end it, the importance of a perfect heart toward God, trusting Him completely, and humbling ourselves before Him.
