- 1 Samuel 8
As we conclude the King Me series, we explore critical lessons from 1 Samuel 8 about choosing God’s rule over our own desires. Using relatable fast-food illustrations, Pastor Wayne Surface challenges us to examine our priorities: Will we have it our way, or God’s way? The sermon addresses key themes including obedience to God’s Word, personal sacrifice, breaking free from spiritual strongholds (the “high places”), consistency in our faith walk, and the cost of following Christ. Learn why some kings succeeded while others failed—and how these timeless principles apply to your life today.
