Passage
2 Kings 7:1-10

In this sermon, Wayne Surface examines the story of four lepers in 2 Kings 7 who discovered an empty Syrian camp during a severe famine in Samaria. Though these men were unnamed and outcast from society, God used them to bring good news to a desperate city. Their story teaches us that we may be unknown to the world, but we are fully known and valued by God. We learn about trusting God’s promises even when circumstances seem impossible, finding courage in our salvation through Christ, and the importance of sharing the gospel—just as these lepers could not keep silent about what they discovered. As Easter approaches, we’re challenged to invite others to experience God’s grace and not miss the opportunity to share the good news of Christ’s resurrection.
