The Increase of Faith

In this message on Luke 17:1-6, we explore what it means to increase our faith in the face of offenses and challenges. Pastor Surface emphasizes three key aspects: the demarcation of faith (recognizing that only the Lord can increase our faith), the demonstration of faith (growing through God’s Word and instruction), and the declaration of faith (living out our faith through ministry involvement and faithful stewardship). Drawing from the apostles’ cry “Lord, increase our faith,” we discover that even mature believers need continual growth, and that overcoming interpersonal conflicts requires faith, compassion, love, grace, mercy, humility, and selflessness. Whether facing offense seven times a day or serving with what little we have, a mustard seed of faith in God’s hands accomplishes the impossible.
