Showers of Blessing

During Hurricane Sunday at Ohana Baptist Church, Wayne Surface shares an encouraging message about finding God’s blessings in seasons of spiritual drought. Drawing from Psalms and other scriptures, he explores where believers find blessing: in church attendance, in prayer, in God’s Word, and in obedience to His commands. The sermon addresses how sin can block blessings like a high-pressure system blocks rain, and encourages listeners to “seed the clouds” through faithful Christian living. Wayne also reminds us that storms often accompany blessings, and that we can trust Christ to guide us safely through life’s trials, just as the disciples learned to trust Jesus in the storm.
