- Philippians 3:1-6
Paul warns the Philippian church about the Judaizers—false teachers who added works and the law to the gospel of grace. In Philippians 3:1-6, Paul calls them dogs, evil workers, and mutilators because they preached a false gospel of Jesus plus something else. True believers, Paul says, are the real circumcision: those who worship God in spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. We are accepted by God through Christ alone, not through our own efforts. This message challenges us to examine whether we’re serving God to earn acceptance or because we’re already accepted in Christ.
