Not Ashamed of the Gospel

In 2 Timothy 8-12, Wayne Surface encourages believers to boldly proclaim the gospel without shame. Paul reminds Timothy—and us—that God has purposed to save us according to His grace, not our works. This purpose brings both joy and humility, freeing us from the fear of man’s judgment. Through Christ’s sacrifice, God has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light. When we understand the depths of God’s grace revealed in the gospel, we find courage to stand firm even when the world mocks our faith. Our struggles in ministry become an honor, uniting us with Christ’s own sufferings. Be bold. Be not ashamed.
