- Acts 1:15-26
In Acts 1:15-26, the disciples choose Matthias to replace Judas as the twelfth apostle. Pastor Wayne Surface explores what this account teaches us about decision-making: the importance of prayer, waiting on God’s timing and the Holy Spirit, grounding our choices in Scripture, and avoiding limiting God’s options. He also challenges us to recognize that God has given each of us gifts and a calling to serve Him—don’t be someone no one ever hears from again. What role has God given you to play in His kingdom?
