Learning to Listen: Philip’s Test of Faith

In this sermon from The Dirty Dozen series, Wayne Surface explores the life of Philip the disciple and what his struggles teach us about spiritual tests. Philip repeatedly failed to retain Jesus’s teachings, even after being with Him for so long. Surface examines why God tests us—to show what we know and don’t know, to prepare us for future challenges, to help us grow, and sometimes for His glory. Learn how to prepare for life’s spiritual tests by studying God’s Word, asking for wisdom, and listening carefully to what God is teaching us. Whether you’re facing trials, confusion, or spiritual challenges, discover how God’s tests can strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him.
