Joseph

In this sermon, Wayne Surface explores the life of Joseph from Genesis and Hebrews 11:22, showing how God uses broken people and restores broken lives. Starting as a spoiled, favored son, Joseph endured slavery, false accusation, and prison—yet maintained integrity, learned patience, and discovered forgiveness. Through Joseph’s journey, we learn that God’s blessings often come through difficult circumstances, that we must put our hands to work while trusting God’s grace, that we must flee sin and pursue righteousness, and that this world is not our home. Whether facing temptation, hardship, or uncertainty about God’s plan, Joseph’s faith reminds us that God is faithful and has prepared something better for those who believe.
