Passage
Luke 22:14–20

On Easter Sunday evening, Ensener Nerro takes us through the events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and the institution of the Lord’s Supper. From the upper room where Jesus broke bread with his disciples, through the garden of Gethsemane, the trial, the scourging, and finally Calvary, we are reminded why we remember Jesus through communion. As Jesus said, “This do in remembrance of me.” The sermon traces the depth of Christ’s sacrifice—his body beaten and broken, his blood poured out for the forgiveness of our sins—and calls us to reflect on the weight of the cross, the depth of his love, and the power of his redemptive work.
