Do I Really Believe He Is the Good Shepherd?

At the Ladies’ Conference 2026, Noelle Sanbeck explores what it truly means to believe that Jesus is our Good Shepherd—and how our actions reveal what we actually believe about God. Drawing from Psalm 23 and the example of Israel’s journey, she challenges us to examine our thoughts and responses to life’s trials. When fear, anxiety, and the urge to control arise, what do they say about our trust in God’s sovereignty, goodness, and provision? Noelle walks through practical ways to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, replacing lies with the truth of Scripture. The abundant life God promises comes not from avoiding valleys, but from knowing we walk through them with our Shepherd—and learning to respond in faith rather than react in fear.
